Status Update and a Backerkit Survey Reminder!

Hey folks! I know it's been a while; there has not been much to update you on -- but that's a good thing! Everything is moving along smoothly, its just doing that smooth moving behind-the-scenes, with our manufacturer in China and with Backerkit handling our surveys and pre-orders.
Speaking of Backerkit... please remember to fill out the surveys that have been sent out to you. They are legitimate and are needed for us to confirm where your calendars should be shipped come November. As of right now, there are about 30 people who backed the Kickstarter, but have not yet filled out the survey. If you're not sure if you're one of them (or if you've lost your survey link), feel free to message us through Kickstarter and we can help you.
We also still have about 20 extra calendars left to sell. If you're filling out your survey, you can choose to add one on at that point. Or you can let your friends know that it's not too late to grab a copy (but it will be soon!). Triviacalendar.net now redirects to our pre-order page on Backerkit.
More updates to come. Thanks again for helping us make this happen!

Let's Keep This Party Going!

Jonathan and I are back from Trivia Nationals, and we've now received the campaign funds from Kickstarter, so our pace is starting to pick back up again here in calendar-land (certain things could not happen until after all that sweet sweet calendar money made its way to our bank account). What's that mean, exactly?
First off, backer surveys will start going out in the next day or two. These will be emailed to you, coming from Backerkit, so please don't be confused or worried. It's really us! At this point, you'll have the chance to confirm your address, and, if you want, add more funds to order more calendars. Don't know where you'll be living in November? No worries! You can update that info later.
It also means that it's just about time for us to get our files finalized and ready to go to print! This is probably the most nerve-wracking part of the whole thing for me, where I worry that the second I hit "confirm order," I'll notice an obvious typo on page one. (Which is not actually a realistic worry, as it has been meticulously proofread by multiple parties [my husband Matt and Katie Cauley].)
In the meantime, we also have a preorder store open for those that missed out on the Kickstarter! If you know someone that wanted to buy a calendar but missed the campaign window, be sure to send them to http://www.triviacalendar.net, which now redirects to the preorder page.

Success! Now, what's next?

We did it! Thank you to all the backers for helping us make this a success. We're so excited to see our idea become a real tangible object that will be going out to all of you.
So, what happens now?
Now we really kick things into gear on our end! The calendar content is already written and laid out - we're just tweaking a few design elements based on the sample we received, and having it proofread to make sure the content is both well-written AND typo-free.
All Kickstarter backers will be receiving a survey link (via Backerkit) in the next week or two, which you'll use to confirm your shipping information. You'll also have the ability to purchase more calendars if you've decided you'd like more.
We'll also be setting up a pre-order store through Backerkit, which will provide a second chance for anyone who missed the Kickstarter window. This will be open through the middle of August.
And then, once pre-orders have closed and we've received our funds from Kickstarter, we'll be making The Big Order from our manufacturer in China. At that point, it will just be a matter of waiting for the calendars to be printed, shipped, and then distributed by our fulfillment partners. Then, in November, your calendars should start making their way to your homes!
Our aim is to be completely transparent and upfront with you. So if anything changes with our timeline, we'll keep you posted.
Oh also, Trivia Nationals!
Jonathan and I (Katie) will be at Trivia Nationals in Las Vegas in August. If you're also going, be sure to say hi! Trivial Warfare will be hosting several events. And if you see me (Katie), let me know that you backed the Kickstarter, and I'll hook you up with some Inkling swag!
Thanks again for all the support so far! 2020 is looking great already!

Our sample calendar came in from our printer today. Get a first peek at what our calendars look like as I unbox it in this video!
We only have three days left in the Kickstarter. So if you haven't got in yet, now is the time to do it! Let's finish BIG!
Now we've gone and done it! (Reach our goal, that is!)

We're thrilled to announce that as of a few days ago...
We've reached our funding goal!
Thank you to all of our backers so far. We, quite literally, could not be doing this without you. So next year, when you read each day's questions, go ahead and feel a little proud of the fact that you are part of the reason the calendar exists.
We have just under a week left in the campaign. So if you haven't gotten in yet, there is still time! Or if you've decided you want to upgrade to higher backer tier, that's an option as well!
Again, thank you so so so much for all the pledges so far. We're excited to see our project coming together!
-Katie and Jonathan-
P.S. We recently sent off our files to get a sample calendar printed. We'll be posting a video of it when we have it our hands in a week or two!
